2013 TRAVEL INFORMATION

If you're finding us for the first time you might be wondering where we are! Well, the EXACT location of the 2013 festival is.........

Doldowlod is situated beside the A470 between Rhayader and Builth Wells.

BY ROAD

We are easy to find by road, Rhayader is on the crossroads of the A470 which runs North to South through Wales and the A44 which connects the West coast of Wales to the Shropshire borders and the West Midlands.

FROM THE NORTH WEST:
Follow the A470 south, We are approximately 6 miles south of Rhayader along the A470.

FROM THE NORTH EAST:
Follow the A483 to Newtown, Following signs to Rhayader you should join the A470 and we are situated approximately 6 miles south of Rhayader along the A470.

FROM THE SOUTH WEST:
Follow the A483 to Builth Wells, Join the A470 north and we are approximately 8 miles north of Builth Wells along the A470

FROM THE SOUTH:
Follow the A470 north. We are approximately 8 miles north of Builth Wells.

FROM THE SOUTH EAST (M4):
Leave the M4 at Junction 24. Follow the A449/A40 to Abergavenny, take the A479 to Talgarth, then join the A470 north towards Builth Wells. We are approximately 8 miles north of Builth Wells along the A470.

FROM THE WEST:
Follow the A44/A470 to Rhayader and we are approximately 6 miles south of Rhayader along the A470.

FROM THE EAST:
Follow the A44 west all the way to Rhayader. At Rhayader take the A470 towards Builth Wells and we are approximately 6 miles south of Rhayader along the A470.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Public transport in Mid Wales can be very patchy - The Landed Festival Crew advise you to check out TRAVELLINE CYMRU for information on any services in Wales. 

RAIL

The closest railway station to the festival is Llandrindod Wells. Llandrindod Wells is approximately 6 mles away from the actual site. Taxi (see advice below) would probably be your best option to finish off your journey to the site. 

BUS

Services run between Builth Wells and Llanidloes through Rhayader and there is a bus stop at ARGOED MILL - very close to the festival entrance. We highly recommend checking TRAVELLINE CYMRU to see if you can reach us by bus.

TAXI

There are a few taxi services around the Rhayader, Llandrindod Wells and Builth Wells area but we advise you that their services generally need to be pre booked. Search online for current companies but we the crew reckon ADEYS TAXIS 01597 822118 offer a good, reliable service if you phone them in advance and they should have minibusses available for larger groups.
