LOST IN TRANSLATION CIRCUS - EUROPEAN TOUR 2013
The Landed Festival Crew are DELIGHTED to announce that Lost in Translation Circus will be joining us this year! Definately NOT TO BE MISSED this emerging UK based contemporary circus company will have their own performance area and we know you're going to love them. They will be performing 'La Ballade de Bergerac' which is a 5 person 50 minute outdoor contemporary circus show designed for festivals.
"Inspired by early science fiction and the life and times of Cyrano de Bergerac, this show brings together spectacular aerial techniques and a steampunk inspired mechanical set to create big cinematic imagery and a distinctively wacky world."

KIDS AREA
Our Kids Area is expanding this year!
We have a packed programme of events from kids drama workshops, craft sessions, hula hooping and environmental arty stuff. Plenty to see, make and do for the whole family...
Kids Crew are delighted to announce the return of the Fabulous Panic Circus!
The Big Top will be open all weekend running circus shows and workshops, puppet shows and workshops, storytelling, bubbles, parachute and anything else you can think of!
They provide enough excitement to fill a 3 day weekend with something extra up their sleeves...
Kids Crew have got an amazing weeked of fun filled pirate antics for all the swashbuckling young'uns...
The Crafty Kids Tent will equip the young pirates with hats, patches, spyglasses and swords ready for Vagabondi Puppets to work their magic and lead the former Land Lubbers into a mysterious Pirates World...
All before the LANDED FESTIVAL DUCK RACE on the Sunday, an annual tradition now! Be sure to "pimp your duck" in the craft sessions laid on by the Kids Crew!
AV DOME
The NEW AV Dome will be up and running this year housing visual art and spoken word performances alongside the Landed Festival tea tent where you can grab a bit of cake and a cuppa!
WALKABOUT
Walkabout Performers will be roaming the fields throughout the weekend, bringing a bit of fun and madness your way wherever you may be!
INTERACTIVE ART
Creative Recycling will be back this year with their latest interactive art exhibits and along with our favourite art installations like the Unicorn and Shiva from here in Mid Wales and the amazing wooden sculptures carved in front of your very eyes there'll be plenty to keep your peepers enthralled.
CRAFT VILLAGE
The Craft Village will be packed full of things to do, watch and get interested in from blacksmithing to chainsaw carving and a whole lot more in between.
THERAPY VILLAGE
The Therapy Village is a place by the River Wye, designed for you to take time out to relax and be pampered in our healing area. We have a range of massage and other healing arts - the perfect way to destress your day!
TRADERS
With an array of stalls - including those who trade in recycled goods from garden ornaments to clothing, Bars and 4 different caterers we think there's loads to eat, drink, see and do to keep you entertained, fed and watered all the way through the May Day bank holiday weekend.
