LANDED FESTIVAL 3rd, 4th & 5th MAY 2013

 

Following on from the great success of 2012, Landed a Festival of Music, Arts and Entertainment promises 3 days of inspiring and innovative performances.

The Live Music Stage will offer a true mixture of original music over the weekend whilst the Cabaret Stage will host drama workshops, a cabaret night, dance workshops, puppet shows and open mic slots as well as musical delights from near and far.

In the Children's Area our 'Crafty Kids' Tent will host a packed programme of events from kids drama workshops, craft sessions, hula hooping and environmental arty stuff - including the 'pimp my duck' sessions leading up to the Landed Festival Duck Race on the Sunday! Panic Circus and Vagabondi puppetry will be there aswell to ensure that Landed Festival 2013 is going to be a fun filled, family friendly weekend for all ages.

With the amazing Lost in Translation Circus adding our festival to their European Tour in 2013, a new Cinema Dome that will be showing independent short films, craft demonstrations, installation art, a vast array of traders - including those trading in recycled goods, walkabout performers and even some interactive recycled art exhibits from Creative Recycling there's loads to see and do across the whole weekend.

Set on the banks of the beautiful River Wye somewhere between the Cambrian Mountains and Brecon Beacons, the stunning surroundings offer a range of camping facilities including a new camping area and live-in vehicle field.  Take a look in our news section by clicking on the link above to see all the latest confirmation news....
